What is the Parade of Homes?

Every February, local builders each finish a brand-new home, and visitors tour all of them on one ticket over about ten days around Presidents' Day weekend. The event is run by the Southern Utah Home Builders Association and presented with Zions Bank. It has run since 1991, when the first Parade had 15 homes, and has drawn about 906,000 visitors across its history.3 It's often described as the largest Parade of Homes in Utah.2,3

A few 2026 homes from public coverage

We don't rank or recommend builders. These homes are listed in alphabetical order only because public sources describe them; every Parade home is worth judging for yourself. We're not affiliated with any builder, and no builder paid for placement here.

  • "Fairways & Freedom" (#25), a Sagestone Homes entry.3
  • "Kara's Dream," the student-built home, built by Washington County School District high school students with local subcontractors through SUHBA's Careers in Construction program.4
  • "The Legacy" (#23) at Solenté, a custom home by Dennis Miller Homes.2

How to tour the Parade like a pro

  1. Buy tickets online to get the map and addresses. Online maps opened partway through the 2026 event, so check the official site for timing.4
  2. Group homes by area. Homes are spread across the county, so plan a route by community.
  3. Go on a weekday or early in the day to avoid weekend crowds.
  4. Bring a phone and notes to save the floor plans, finishes and builders you like.
  5. Look past the décor at lot orientation, storage, garage space and outdoor living, which matter most in this climate.
  6. Ask the exhibitors about the products you love. They're there to answer questions.
